Seawise Salvors & Monetary Investments

Our aim is to find suitable companies or persons who know of any companies that can finance and back a project that has to be taken seriously. Our aim is to raise two ships, the Queen Elizabeth and the R.M.S Titanic. For over 30 years Douglas Faulkner Woolley has been trying to find these persons and companies, only to be let down by those not up to the job in hand. Because of these people taking up valuable time and resources we are only interested in those who make promises they keep.
Thirty years is a long time and Douglas is no longer in his prime of life, meaning that anything that needs doing has to be done without delay. The Q.E1 is still in Hong Kong Harbour and while it is not fully intact, is certainly in a reasonable condition. A recent survey has confirmed this.
The Titanic is a different story. The American authorities have claimed her as their own and have shown their total disrespect of international marine and salvaging laws. It is one of the reasons why they will not grant permission for her to be raised.
To clarify the story, in 1977 H.M.S Hecate, under the title of the ‘Sollis Project’ was testing sonar equipment and found a wreck in two parts off the Grand Banks, which was logged. Almost two years later Seawise Salvage were testing new deep sea camera equipment from the H.M.S Hecate in the previously logged area and identified the wreck to be the Titanic, ironically still thought to have been thought to have been in one piece at the time. The coordinates were printed in the national press. Because of the fact that she had been found as a result of work done during the Cold War, other details were kept secret from the public.
Dr. Robert Ballard knew about everything that had happened and in 1985 went out on an expedition to the exact coordinates, without variations of direction or weeks of sonar detection being needed. Even his ship’s log will confirm this but didn’t stop him claiming to have found her. By using only American courts he was granted salvage rights, which are not supported by any other legal body anywhere else in the world. Douglas Faulkner Woolley has made his claims through legitimate sources and is accepted worlwide as being the rightful owner, with all the paperwork to prove this. The Titanic is also registered as a British vessel that never made it into waters governed by United States authorities, in fact being closer to Commonwealth boundaries as it was so close to Canada.
Should there still be any doubt about the ownership all the information is supplied in Mr. Woolley’s book ‘Titanic-One Man’s Dream’. A limited company is due to be set up to manage funds towards this project for interested parties.

Douglas Faulkner Woolley was legally granted salvage rights to RMS Titanic and QE1 through the courts in 1972-73. These rights were confirmed in 1984. No other court or group after this time can legally dismiss this claim.
